Since 1961 Community Living Essex County, a non-profit, registered charitable organization has been committed to assisting people of all ages who have an intellectual disability and their families throughout Essex County.

Community Living Essex County envisions a society where everyone belongs, has equality, respect and acceptance. The gifts, uniqueness and innate value of each person is celebrated, supported and acknowledged as essential to the completeness of the whole community.

We help the community develop its capacity to welcome and support people who have not always had equal opportunities to participate in community life in meaningful, productive ways.

Over 700 employees and hundreds of dedicated volunteers join together to provide quality supports and inspire opportunity for people with intellectual disabilities of all ages across Essex County.
