2007 EXCITING NEWS FOR EVERYONE

November 23Tree Lighting 6:30pm. Light up the Night with Mrs. Claus and the Mayor. Bring the kids and have a quick supper – hot soup, hot dogs, cake, cider, cookies, and juice. All complimentary of the Essex BIA and sponsors. There will be a box under the tree for you donations to the Salvation Army.

Following the Tree lighting, proceed to Essex United Church for an “Evening of Voices”. Local choirs and soloist will perform with refreshments to follow. Bring a canned good for the Salvation Army Food Bank.

November 24Santa Claus Parade - “Santa Claus comes to Essex” is this year's theme for the parade and our windows is “ O Christmas Tree". The parade starts at Maidstone Ave. E and goes to Talbot Street, then proceeds to Fairview Ave. Visit Santa at the Gazebo following the parade at 12 noon. **2007 Essex BIA Parade Application**

December 6 - Moonlight Madness Sale - Essex Businesses will be open for late night shopping until 9 pm.

December 8 Breakfast with Santa . Tickets $5.00 at the door, call 776-9811. Pancakes and sausage, Essex United Church basement.
